Pawtriotic Pet Hotel is not just a luxury pet accommodation; it's a testament to the dedication and spirit of our founder, LCDR Anton S. Drake, a proud veteran of the US Navy. With 23 years of distinguished service, including a decade with the Nuclear Submarines, Anton's naval journey was as remarkable as his love for pets.

His story took a heartwarming turn in Washington State at Bangor, where he met Christina Ziegler. Their love blossomed into marriage in 2007, and together they welcomed their daughter Alyssa in 2010, the same year Anton was commissioned as an officer and became an LDO.

In 2011, the Drake family embarked on a new chapter in sunny San Diego, CA, following Anton's reassignment. This period marked a significant phase in their lives and in Anton's naval career.

However, in 2019, while stationed in Bahrain, Anton faced his toughest battle against stage 4 colon cancer. Bravely fighting until the end, he passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 43.
